With support from E6 partner Nièvre Numérique, Repair Café Nevers has invested in new equipment to expand its community repair activities.
The new resources will help volunteers and members of the public work together to repair electrical and electronic equipment, extending the life of devices and reducing electronic waste.
This initiative reflects the wider goals of the E6 project, which brings partners across North-West Europe together to develop practical solutions that support the repair, reuse and longer use of electrical and electronic equipment.
Nièvre Numérique is a public organisation bringing together the Nièvre Departmental Council, Nevers Agglomération and the Nièvre intermunicipal authorities. It is also responsible for deploying fibre-optic broadband across the department.
Together, Repair Café Nevers, Nièvre Numérique and the E6 project are helping to make repair more accessible and extend the life of electrical and electronic equipment.
