On May 1, 2025, the City of Aachen, in collaboration with the OecherLab—Aachen’s innovation and citizen dialogue hub—hosted a lively and successful Repair Café as part of the E6 project.
From egg timers to laptops, a wide range of items were brought back to life by dedicated repair enthusiasts in cooperation with the owners. The event wasn’t just about fixing things—it was about connecting people and ideas. We had a fruitful exchange of repairers, engaged citizens, and representatives from the city of aachen.
Visitors enjoyed delicious cake, refreshing smoothies powered by the fun Smoothie Bike, and live music that added to the relaxed, feel-good atmosphere. The sunny weather and great conversations made the day a true celebration of community, creativity, and sustainability.
